They gave up trying to reign in the monster. I went to the Virginia DMV once and said "LORD ALMIGHTY, I CAN GET A BOWLING LICENSE PLATE?!!!?!" but then my head nearly exploded because that was only one of about 4,300 specialty plates.

My favorite. How does this make a bit of sense? Never miss a revenue. Not even one.
